Our new and improved app calculation is designed to take into consideration fitness and nutrition needs that are entirely unique to you. Using a combination of your age, weight, height, gender and workout routine, our proprietary formula generates the most accurate macro and calorie recommendations possible.
With the new calculation, we have adjusted the activity factors to reflect a more accurate starting TDEE and then calculate your daily calorie goal using a percentage based adjustment (dependent on your fitness goal to gain, lose, or maintain weight). Because of this you might find that your daily calorie needs have changed.
The new formula also allows for more personalized macro recommendations, using your unique body weight and fitness level. Protein needs are calculated based on your weight, carbohydrates needs are directed related to your training, and fat accounts for roughly 30% of your total daily calories.
You can also now adjust your daily macros for a keto diet! This will provide you with keto-specific macro goals in the app and allow you to count your daily net carb intake.
