Balanced Macronutrients

When you order food from Trifecta, you receive meals with a balance of carbohydrates, protein, fat, and fiber designed to help you keep your energy stable all day, and achieve your health goals.

Strict Ingredients Criteria

Our banned ingredient list includes 237 ingredients we do not allow in our food, including preservatives, certain oils, and artificial flavorings to ensure our meals are always the highest quality to help you achieve your health goals.

Organic Ingredient Goals

We prioritize organic sourcing for key ingredients like produce, beans, legumes, and root vegetable starches, especially for the most pesticide-vulnerable items on the Dirty Dozen list. Currently, 49% of the ingredients in our Clean, Paleo, and Plant-Based meals are organic. We’re actively working to increase the organic percentage in our Keto and Performance meals. With rigorous sourcing and monitoring practices in place, we’ve set clear benchmarks, timelines, and priorities to reach our ambitious goal of 75% organic ingredients in all meals by the end of 2025.

Protein Standards

At Trifecta, we source only high quality proteins—seafood, beef, poultry, and pork that are 100% hormone and antibiotic-free (No Antibiotics Ever (NAE)/Antibiotic Free (ABF). Whenever possible, our proteins are grass-fed and grass-finished, ensuring premium nutrition and taste. We partner exclusively with suppliers who uphold strict animal welfare standards that result in products that are more flavorful, more nutritious, and a perfect foundation for every meal.

Sugar Standards

We take a balanced approach to sugar, avoiding simple sugars like high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and white sugar as primary sweeteners. Simple sugars are highly refined carbohydrates that can cause rapid blood sugar spikes and are often linked to weight gain and nutrient imbalances when consumed in excess. Instead, we prioritize natural and complex sweeteners such as honey, dates, date paste, agave, maple syrup, and apple juice concentrate.

Sodium Standards

We carefully balance our seasoning to enhance flavor while maintaining recommended sodium levels, with a target of 800 mg per meal. For those seeking lower sodium options, our Signature meals offer as little as 124 mg of sodium per serving. Larger volume Performance Meals may contain up to 1,020 mg per meal for electrolyte replacement.

Beef & Bison: High Quality, Responsible-Raised Meats

We partner with trusted ranchers and farmers to provide premium-quality meats raised responsibly, with no added hormones or antibiotics, featuring grass-fed options for beef and bison. 

Seafood: Open Seas, High Standards

We source our seafood sustainably, to bring you today’s tastiest and healthiest catch, while protecting tomorrow’s fish populations. All of our seafood is free from antibiotics and added hormones. The seafood used in our clean, paleo, and a la carte entrees are sustainably sourced under the Seafood Watch standards set by Monterrey Bay Aquarium. We are actively working on implementing these standards to our keto and signature meals.

Chicken & Turkey: Happy Birds, Happy Life

Our poultry is raised with vegetarian feed and is free of antibiotics and growth hormones. It is USDA certified as NAE (No Antibiotics Ever).

Happy Pork

We source pork that is humanely raised, antibiotic free (ABF) and with no added hormones.
